Iba uses 100% natural minerals colors from sources such as iron oxides, zinc oxide, and titanium dioxide which are micronized into tiny particles and added for color in our makeup products such as foundations, BB cream, lipsticks, etc.
Coconut Oil
The primary benefit of coconut oil is its moisturizing effects. This makes it to be an ideal choice for both hair care and lip care. Your lips are particularly sensitive to moisture loss because the skin is thin, and they're exposed to the elements more so than other parts of your skin. Iba loves using coconut oil in all its Lipsticks as it’s a perfect oil for protecting & healing the lips.
Castor Seed Oil
Vegetable oil derived from cold pressing castor seeds is one of our favorite ingredients. Used as an emollient in Lipsticks & Lip Balms, it gives you naturally moisturized and fuller lips. Castor oil is incredibly dense and has a rich, oily texture. It contains ricinoleic acid, which is an excellent natural moisturizer. When applied to the lips, castor oil immediately hydrates and makes them look fresh and feel supple. Th rich fatty acids present in the oil helps evens out lip discolorations. They penetrate damaged tissue and promote the production of fresh skin cells. As a result, discoloured skin cells are replaced by fresh cells, making lips appear even-toned and soft.
Shea Butter
Shea Butter comes from the Shea nut and is an excellent natural moisturiser. Although it feels thick to touch, it sinks in like a dream, making skin feel perfectly nourished and softened. It keeps moisture locked in, soothes and protects from environmental damage, and leaves dry, flaky skin feeling nurtured and cared for. Iba’s Lipsticks and Lip Balms are rich in Shea Butter to give you those perfectly supple lips.
Aloe Vera
Tones, heals & soothes oily & acne prone skin. Revitalizes tired skin and helps fade under eye dark circles. Iba used 100% Pure Aloe Vera Juice in its skincare products and soothing Aloe Vera Oil in its Pure Lips Range of Lipsticks.
